UPCOMING EVENTS

Mississauga Reptile Expo April 25th 2010

 http://reptileexpo.ca/

Chromachameleons will be at next weekend’s Mississauga Reptile Expo. I bet you are as excited as I am to attend this upcoming event. It absolutely never gets boring. So much to see , so much to do! It’s the event of the season ; hands down; without a doubt; for sure.

Spring is here and I have been picking away at my to do list. Our website www.chromachameoleons.com is finally updated. I pledge to keep the site current throughout the year and if I don’t , I expect to hear about it from those of you that have been so patient.

We have posted a few new projects.

Particularly , we are now dabbling in Veiled chameleons. And, we are also breeding TransBald Veiled chameleons. The Transbald Veiled chameleon is a naturally occuring morph that exhibits itself with patches of pigment deficient skin. It was first discovered in the wild and has been work on in Europe for a number of years. Chromachameleons had procurred Transbald breeding stock back in November of 2008. We have produced our first generation of Transbald veileds and we are now breeding to produce Super Transbald Veileds in 2011. The Transbald Veiled babies that we have available are extremely limited in quantity and will be sold on a Breeder Exchange Pool basis. If you would like more information on this project , please email us at chromachameleons@yahoo.com.

If you peruse our site , you will see we have been working with Fischers chameleons also. This is a real passion for us. Fischers represent the very best of chameleon keeping and breeding , in our opinion. Lets just say , they are a personal favourite. We expect to have babies available by late 2010 to early 2011.

We also have 3 new projects that will remain somewhat secret for now. Results of these new projects should start to trickle out by January 2011.

So, hope to see you all at the expo!!!

And, seriously; is there anything better than chameleons??? I ask you …..
